If you're in a mad dash to update your profile for a job application that's due in tomorrow, this course isn't for you. Go grab 3 basic tips from YouTube and good luck for now! Come back when you've got a bit more time and space to really master your own professional social media presence .
Oh, and be ready to experiment and do the work. This is an action-orientated course!
How long will it take me?
Hmmm, that depends. Naturally, the more serious an overhaul needed, the longer it will take you.
There are around 7 hours of video content in the course, all broken down into manageable chunks. The average length is around 15 minutes, though some are mere nibbles at 5 minutes and a handful are mighty meaty at around 35 minutes (yes, I go deep and give you the detail you need, not the obvious stuff).
Most modules will then need you to implement what you've learnt, which could be a few quick updates as you watch, or a longer piece of research, writing or outreach once you've been taught a particular approach or strategy. On average, people say they spent at least the same time in implementation as they did watching the course and they benefitted from working on it consistently over time.
So it's not a binge it, do-it-all-in-a-day course. It's all about exercising your LinkedIn muscles - creating, building, playing and experimenting.
Ultimately (and this won't surprise you) like all courses, you get back what you put in.
